Why ?

I reinstalled the guidance, then replaced broken references to System.Windows.Controls.Data (they have warning images and empty paths) with correct ones via Add Reference dialog.
Now it fails in app.xaml.cs with error message:

Invalid attribute value data:DataGridRow for property TargetType. [Line: 375 Position: 54]

Should it work ?

After changing Copy Local to True it finally works

Glad you got it worked out.

In the future, you'd probably be more successful asking questions about the Composite WPF guidance on that discussion group, rather than here.
