Is there a Lab for a web application

Apr 30, 2008 at 11:13 AM
I looked at the documentation and the only lab I could find was a winodws forms one (StopLight), is there a lab for a web application using Unity?
TIA

Hey Yaz,

David Hayden did some good screen casts on his blog which may help you to move forward, see the link below
http://www.pnpguidance.net/Category/Unity.aspx

Also Chris did some good explanation in article of “Using Unity and the ASP.NET MVC Preview 2” which you can find at the link

Alexander,

Thanks for the links I had seen them before, the problem with both links is that there is no code to download, I tried to get David Hayden's code to work but failed.

Cheers

Yaz,

You may take a look of Prism project at codeplex which uses Unity, Prism is a set of assets for developing Composite WPF applications.

If you provide a bit more explanation or scope what you are looking for in order to setting up Unity with ASP.NET maybe I or someone else here can help you a bit more on sample that would help you.

Yaz,
Yes there are things outdated on this page, to help you further can you provide me what errors you got? Are you just looking for a simple example of how to use unity in ASP.NET application?

What does "failed" mean?

Did it not compile and you gave up? Compiled but threw an exception? Did nothing?

Were you trying to use it with ASP.NET MVC or regular ASP.NET? IF MVC, which preview version?

"Failed" really doesn't give us anything to go on.
