I adedd datacontract support and uploaded the component to nuget.org. More info here: http://blog.odra.com.ar/2012/02/serialization-support-for-unity-interception/

@zhoel I am using Unity with WCF client (ASP.NET Web API). Once the channel message is received by WCF client, message stream is handed to Unity; Unity does the serialization and resolve the mapped object. Our WCF hosted services are using DataContractSerializer. My current need is, to stop Unity from performing default DataContractSerialization (in the client-side) and hook my custom serialization (utilizes JSON.Net). Please let me know, how to hook custom serialzation in Unity.

if you do not want your proxy to pass through the domain, you should not use the extension serialization, or at least get a copy of the object without intercept, to send to the server. You can do this with a simple facade pattern or segregating responsibilities, separating the client domain objects (which if intercepted) and service domain objects.
I apologize for the delay, but had long since entered, I hope to be in time to be of help
