Sorry, I'm afraid I'm not sure what are you pertaining with 2.1 service release since Unity's active and latest release is 2.0.

A new version (2.1) is available on the Microsoft website :

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/confirmation.aspx?FamilyID=46e2a211-a5e8-4ea2-94f1-b3ab386a228d

Currently looking for a changelog as well. I was really hoping to see a fix on the "The given assembly name or codebase was invalid" without telling us what assembly is actually causing the problem.

Any update, all the links still point to the existing April 2010 release.

More updates to the wiki for the service release 2.1, but still no documentation.  Do I have to manually compare the source files to work out what was changed ???

Release notes can be found here: http://unity.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Unity21ReleaseNotes

Basically, it contains several bug fixes to Unity Interception mechanism. If you are not using Interception, there's no need to upgrade.
